Pay Now User Instructions

The stakeholder may choose to pay the filing fees immediately using a credit card or e-check by clicking Pay Now. This directs the user to the PAYMENT METHOD PAGE to begin the electronic payment.

Complete The Payment Method Page

The purpose of the PAYMENT METHOD PAGE is to identify how the filing fees will be paid. The Industrial Commission accepts both MasterCard and VISA for payments by credit card. Using an electronic check deducts the fee amount from a checking or savings account.

Before payment is made, the data at the top of the page is verified for accuracy. Discrepancies should be reported to the Industrial Commission at 919-807-2695.

After verification, the Payment Method is selected at the bottom of the screen. If Pay by electronic check is selected, the Account Type must also be selected.

Clicking Exit will halt the payment transaction.

Review Before You Pay

This is the PAYMENT REVIEW PAGE. This is the last chance to review the information before bank accounts are debited or credit cards are charged. Clicking Exit will halt the payment transaction.

If there is a data entry error, clicking Back returns to the previous page for error correction.

To process the payment, Pay Now is clicked. It will take a few seconds to process the payment and once that is completed, the receipt is displayed.

Keep Your Receipt

The Industrial Commission keeps a copy of this receipt for its records. Additionally, a copy in PDF format is emailed to the email address associated with the NCID.

The receipt identifies the person who paid the invoice, as well as the company who owns the bank account or credit card that was used. It also shows information specific to the payment such as the Invoice, IC File #, Form that was filed, and Amount Paid. Lastly, it includes information related to the payment, such as the Confirmation # and Authorization Code.

This receipt will include information on documents that do not require a filing fee that were uploaded at the same time as the filing-fee documents.
