In December 2006, the N.C. Industrial Commission experienced computer problems with our electronic file system that had been in place since 1997. The efforts to recover documents have been completed. The vast majority of documents have been recovered and placed in a new electronic file system. A small but unknown number of documents could not be recovered. We can provide a copy of the documents in our records from your case that are in the current electronic file. If you believe there are documents that were filed that are not in the copy we provide, please notify the Commission and proceed with obtaining the documents from original sources.
