On August 20, 1998 the N.C. Industrial Commission adopted revised Rules for Mediated Settlement and Neutral Evaluation Conferences. The revised rules, which are also effective as of August 20, are substantively identical to the proposed rules that were the subject of a 30-day comment period and public hearings held on June 23-25, 1998.
