Introduction
On May 23rd, N.C. Industrial Commission Chairman Buck Lattimore recognized Kids’ Chance of North Carolina for efforts to help the children of workers injured or killed on the job in the state.
“Kids’ Chance has been a great success in our neighboring states and now workers in our state can be assured that their children will have the opportunity to continue their education if a catastrophic work-related accident disrupts their family,” Lattimore said. “I applaud the work of attorneys, insurance companies, businesses, and others in the workers’ compensation community joining together to bring this program to North Carolina.”
North Carolina becomes the 26th state to establish a Kids’ Chance program.
