TIC United Corp. has filed voluntary Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas, Dallas Division, Case No.: 00-37234-HCA-11. TIC United Corp. is insured for workers’ compensation claims in the State of North Carolina.
NCIC records indicate Reliance Insurance Company insured TIC United Corp.
from August 12, 1999 to August 12, 2000. Reliance Insurance Company is in
liquidation and the North Carolina Insurance Guaranty Association is processing
their claims in North Carolina. Lumberman’s Mutual Casualty Company is
certified as the insurance carrier from August 12, 2000 to August 12, 2001.
Claimants in workers’ compensation insurance cases should not experience any
disruption in benefits.
