RE: Death of Deputy Commissioner Nancy Warren Gregory
Please
join me in mourning the loss of Deputy Commissioner Nancy Warren Gregory on
January 18th. Nancy was appointed a Deputy Commissioner on May 9, 2002.
Previously she was an agency legal specialist at the Commission assisting
Commissioner Dianne C. Sellers from 1994 until 1996. From 1996 until 1999, she
worked as an associate with the law firm of Yates, McLamb & Weyher, L.L.P.,
where she practiced primarily in the area of workers’ compensation. In 1999,
she returned to the Commission to again work with Commissioner Sellers. We all
remember Nancy’s smile and cheerful personality and her strong work ethic. She
was a fine lawyer, an outstanding Deputy Commissioner and someone respected
personally and professionally by all.
I have attached additional information, the schedule for
the celebration of life for Nancy, and directions to the church. Please join me,
the Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners in remembering “Bo” and her
family in your prayers.
