Summary  of  Workers  Comp  Experience I  have  been  a  practicing  attorney  at  law  for  approximately  12.5  years.  The  vast  majority  of  this  time  has  been  spent  representing  Plaintiffs  in  workers'  compensation  matters.    In  2007,  I  obtained  my  Board  Certification  in  workers'  compensation  from  the  North  Carolina  State  Bar.    I  re-certified  my  specialty  in  Workers'  Compensation  at  the  end  of  2012.    In  2011,  I  also  went  through  the  Peer  Review  rating  system  established  by  Matindale-Hubbell.  I  received  a  rating  of  AV  Preeminent,  which  is  the  highest  rating  possible.      In  2011,  2012  and  again  in  2013,  I  also  received  recognition  from  Super  Lawyers  as  a  Rising  Star  award  recipient.    The  award  I  received  was  specifically  in  the  area  of  workers’  compensation  and  according  to  their  literature  awards  only  go  out  to  2.5%  of  the  attorneys  in  the  State.
