Summary  of  Workers  Comp  Experience I  offer  mediation  and  conflict  resolution  services  for  all  types  of  disputes  with  special  emphasis  in  the  areas  of  workers  compensation,  EEOC  and  other  employment  disputes.  I  am  on  the  panel  of  independent  mediators  for  the  EEOC's  pilot  ADR  program  as  well  as  on  the  Industrial  Commission's  approved  list.  I  have  over  seven  years  of  conflict  resolution  experience,  and  am  a  member  of  the  Society  of  Professionals  in  Dispute  Resolution.  I  received  certification  as  a  mediator  in  1993  by  the  Snohomich  County  Dispute  Resolution  Center,  Everett,  Washington.  In  1998,  I  was  certified  by  the  Dispute  Resolution  Commission  of  North  Carolina  to  perform  Superior  court  mediated  settlement  conferences.  I  am  a  former  member  of  the  Board  of  Directors  of  the  Dispute  Settlement  Center  of  Durham,  where  I  served  for  one  year  as  Secretary  and  two  as  Chairperson.

I  am  an  attorney  licensed  in  both  North  Carolina  and  Washington  State.  Along  with  being  a  mediator,  I  am  also  a  legal  writer  and  editor  as  Employment  Law  Research  (ELR).  ELR  revises  and  updates  the  Larson  treatises  on  employment  law.  These  include  Larson's  Workers'  Compensation  law,  Employment  Discrimination,  Unjust  Dismissal  and  Employment  Screening.
